Applications & Interviews
Becoming a tenant is a two-step process. Individuals must first submit an application. Life Cycle will select some applicants for an interview. After the interview Life Cycle may offer a tenancy to the most suitable applicant. Criteria for deciding who to interview and for selecting a tenant are described below.
APPLICATIONS
Ontario Avenue & Cranberry Place
When vacancies occur at these properties, Life Cycle selects all applicants for interview from the BC Housing Registry wait list. If you interested in renting at these properties, you must submit your application directly to the BC Housing Registry. Please note that ALL applicants must use this application form, and this includes both tenants needing rent subsidies and tenants who can afford market rents.
Application forms are available here:

Paper copies can be picked up outside our office and submitted to the Housing Registry by mail.
The Registry keeps your application on file for 6 months so it is in your interest to ensure that this application is up-to-date and includes current contacts and up-to-date information on your income and assets.
Brew Bay
When vacancies occur at this property, Life Cycles selects applications for interview from its own wait list.
Application forms are available here:

INTERVIEWS
Applicants are selected for interviews based on length of time on the wait list, need, suitability for the vacant unit and ability to pay. All interviews are conducted in the applicant’s home by 2 members of Life Cycle’s board of directors.
Following interviews, the Society may select a tenant. In making this decision, we consider the criteria noted above as well as favourable reference checks and required proof of income.
