MAINTAINING THE BEST POSSIBLE STANDARDS

It is an important priority for the Society to maintain the buildings and properties to the best possible standards within our limited resources. All rental units are inspected annually and repaired as needed to prolong the building life, create comfortable and safe homes for our tenants, and to fit into the surrounding neighbourhoods.

The Society’s focus is on housing, and it does not provide any support services on-site, so tenants must be capable of living independently or have private arrangements for needed services.  If the need for extra service arises, we may direct tenants to services available in the community.

Rents are determined through budgetary needs and regular market appraisals.  Some rent subsidies are available, but their sources and financial levels differ between properties.

Life Cycle properties are pet friendly. Tenants must declare and register their pet and agree to our Pet Policy before the pet is permitted on our property.   The number and size of the pet is different for each our properties.  No exotic animals or dangerous breeds are permitted.
