How much rent will you pay?
We offer a mix of market and subsidized rents. In alignment with CMHC and BC Housing, we define housing as affordable when it costs no more than 30–35% of gross household income. By offering a range of rental rates within the same building, we help create an inclusive community where people with different income levels can have fair access to affordable rental homes.
MARKET RENTS
If your total household income falls within the ranges set by BC Housing, then you will pay our posted market rents (see properties). These rent levels are generally paid by working households with low to moderate incomes.
RENT SUBSIDIES
The goal of the subsidy arrangement is to ensure that the rent paid is only 30-35% of the tenant’s household income. Eligibility is determined by limits set by BC Housing and the amount of subsidy depends on the size of your family and your gross household income.
